I don’t write about him very often because my personal dictionary simply doesn’t have enough words to describe him. It’s a bit like lingo – every occupation has its own lingo and once you are qualified in your profession you understand what the terms mean that you now use every day. Well, I’m obviously not qualified yet.

Whirlwind, energetic, crazy, loud, messy and never-ending are not really words that describe the rest of us. But his love for animals – that I am perfectly familiar with and fully comprehend everything that goes with it. It makes me wonder if maybe, I wasn’t a bit like him when I was his age. But then I need to seriously start praying for the energy and the love to live life, to match his fire. And for the lingo to understand his driven nature. His “either you give it your everything or nothing” attitude. His desire to play until you fall apart from tiredness or don’t play at all.

For now, I’ll stick to photographing him from a distance, because up close and personal gets my lenses dirty just about every single time.
